Pete and I returned to The Victoria for our 11th visit and we are booked for our 12th, March 3rd to 23, 2011. The Victoria is under new managment and the resort is improved in all areas. The new manager Marisol Guzman is a breath of fresh air for The Victoria. The resort sparkles under her care and new menus have been introduced on a 14 day rotation. We were there when the menu was introduced and the food is excellent! Delicious fried chicken,veggies cooked to perfection, wonderfull mashed potatoes and fries, beef,fish and pasta. Lots to choose from for everyone. Most of the old staff are there and it is so nice to see them all again. The service is excellent as always! Marisol is a hands on manager and you often see her eating in the dinning room and working late into the night. Marisol takes time to get to know her guests and make sure all their needs are taken care of. Thank you Marisol for a wonder vacation at the Victoria. Pete and I our taking our son, daughter in-law and granddaughter with us in March and we hope they love the Victoria as much as we do and will join us every year.

excellent! Food and service at the Le Jardine restaurant is excellent. try the chicken.
Beach/Pools/Grounds:
The most beautiful grounds in The Playa Dorada complex. The resort sits on a golf course and you can sit and watch the sun rise every morning during breakfast and watch it set every evening from the Pizza restaurant.

Best place for complete and total relaxation. Quiet, intimate, very special!
