I was told that you can’t have anyone related be your witness at your wedding. Has anyne heard of this too? I was told by someone who was married at the same resort in Cuba my daughter is getting married at in April. |

Yes, sadly it’s true. So I had the family member stand up for us (best man), and had a couple of friends step in and witness for us. It was a good way to incorporate more people into the wedding ceremony. |

Thanks all…..the Best Man is a relative…..so they will use one of the Grooms Men to sign. |

You can have a family member be a witness, as long as they are not blood relatives. For instance, your mother, father brother or sister…however, a cousin, aunt, uncle, brother/sister in law can be a witness. |
