Just wondering what air transat is serving to eat for the early morning flights such as 6 am? Do they still serve food? Is there a charge?

Edit: oops, no they did not charge for the meal.

If Your trip cost $750, I find it hard to pay $260 for club for 4 hour flight
I rather spend $75 for exit row and have more leg room then clubclass

Exit row isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Sure you get the extra leg room but the seats are even narrower than regular seats because of the trays being in the arms rather drop down from the seat ahead. Talk about feeling like you are wearing a straight jacket Even worse is getting the window seat (depending on the plane) as you will have a large intrusion into you leg space. We’ve paid for exit rows on all our flights but this time…Club Class and we can’t wait. I’m actually looking forward to our 6 hour flight to Cuba for the first time It adds $600 to the cost of our trip but, for us, worth every penny.

For me a flight to Cuba is only 3.5 hours so the cost is not worth IMO6 hours could be a different story

At 5 hours to El Salvador exit rows are great for me

One other gripe I have with the exit row seats is that other passengers come and stand in the area in front of you to stretch their legs. On a long flight, you pretty well have a constantly changing small number of people standing in front of you making it difficult to relax, enjoy the movie (the screen is blocked), etc. I feel sorry for these folks because I empathize with the horrible seating they have but I paid an extra fee for the leg room offered by exit seats that is now occupied by these passengers This was bad on our last Air Transat flight as the washroom was in front of us and it was a never ending parade :POn a short flight (3 1/2 hrs) you can tolerate a lot but as the flight lengthens your patience goes out the door. We never say anything because we do feel sorry for these folks (usually tall guys) so we suck it up unless someone steps on us Karmadoc didn’t mention that the flight back from Cuba, for which she didn’t upgrade to CC, was over 9 hours long because it did a stop in Santa Clara. I know because I was on the same flight but the week prior. Now that was a flight from hell even with exit row. It was on that flight that we decided it would be Club Class from now on!

We want to arrive happy in Cuba and return home in a good mood not tired and cranky…for us, that’s priceless plus I’m hoping the food is better in CC….normally, I take food for us to eat on board (cheese, grapes and other snacks to keep the tummy happy for 6 hours) We got a lot of envious looks from fellow passengers, around us, as we tucked into our goodies.

We are in CC both going and coming this year now we know about boarding the plane in TO but what about at the varadero airport. Is there a specific place for us to go to board or do we have to stand in line. Any help would be appreciated. We leave on the 23 of January for CVJ.

There is a club class line at Varadero airport and it is the same line used by those travellers who have booked the VIP lounge for their departure. We did not have club class last trip but used this line for the VIP lounge and, believe me, that was worth the cost of the VIP lounge as there were hundreds of people lined up to check in and we were by ourselves in the club class line. We overhead a fellow in the VIP lounge moaning about the fact that he was not aware that he had the use of this line and, instead, stood in the main line for 1 1/2 hours waiting to check in.
I forgot to mention, the club class line is right when you walk in the door of the airport…at least it was when we flew last February.
