Do you have photos of little friends dogs, cats, goats, horses, iguanas, lizards etc that you took on your vacation in Cuba. If you have photos of any animals share on this thread it would be nice to see it. Here is a few from me"

Horse using the decorative pond as a water trough, Los Corales.

Dog in Havana with ID card on collar. Curly tailed lizard, Jibacoa. Iguana at Bucanero. Visitor in my bathroom at Don Lino. Taking out the trash at Don Lino. Sheep at Farallon, mowing the lawn.

Does my avatar count? This girl and her rooster were passengers when I jumped in one of the horse carriages that serve as mass transit in Sancti Spiritus. I have no clue where she was taking her well dressed rooster.

A cock that just made his owner very happy and winner of several big bets at the cock fights in Cueto, Holguin.

This little piggy went to market. Actually to the train station which has the only scale in Cueto. Full grown pigs go for 15 pesos per pound. At 146 pounds, this pig brought 2,190 CUP or the equivalent of US$88. The pig was very unhappy about being tied up and had not yet realized that he had already seen his last sunrise.

Here is a little shrimp friend that I found in Baracoa Cuba. They live inside river and sometimes can bite you while you swimming. Nothing too painful or dangerous but I felt it many times and was wandering what is this. First I thought its little fish but it was this little friend:

Hi @Spunky I realized that I made mistake lol I said sea while I found it in river .. I believe is shrimp and fully grown. It actually jumps on top of the water.

We tried so hard to save him .
Beached himself on the beach out front of Tropical Hotel downtown Varadero . Just could wrestle him off the beach

Not your average Cuban dog and not your average Cuban soldier.

I know all too well not to photograph anything military in Cuba, having had such explained to me at length years ago while being detained in a police station. But when I saw this soldier from the Brigada Especial Nacional or "black berets" with his black dog, I had to use that gesture with shoulders and camera that subtly asks "OK?" Instead of the expected rejection, this special forces soldier struck this pose for about a second then walked away as if it never happened.
