	Seems that DFC will pack the 3rd container for this year after Xmas and send it back to the same province as the last one ( Mayabeque ) as they seem to be able to deal with the paper work better and faster than other places. This pack will take place at the warehouse so not many volunteers required , if needed John will send word on his return from Cuba. Lenny

	Any word on when the next packing will happen? Or even the one after that? We are from Ottawa, so it is a bit of a hike down… The alternative is to see if anyone in the Ottawa area would be going down with some space for a few bags of clothing. If so, PM me.

Wenwot, we are from Ottawa as well and have been down for 3 packs. It is a long drive but was a wonderful experience to participate and to meet some of the regular volunteers, and of course, John and Marion who are amazing individuals. It is great to know that sufficient regular volunteers are close by, but if you ever see a call out for volunteers, it would be an exceptional opportunity to see and be part of the effort.

First one this year ! Message from DCF" This container will be going to the province of Santiago, and will be loaded with materials for Children’s sports, hospitals, policlinics, maternal facilities, as well as for the elderly, the sick the disabled, orphans and social cases.Santiago is one of the poorest provinces in Cuba and as it is celebrating its 500th anniversary in 2015, it is fitting that our first shipment of the year should be going there, to make a positive difference in the lives of thousands of residents of that province, and especially so for the most needy and vulnerable, as well as children.
