Turnabout is fair play, so: How many cigars do you smoke and how many cervezas do you usually drink in a week while away?I average about 2 cigars per day and somewhere between 8 and 12 cervezas, depending on the days events.Usually finish of the night with a glass of red wine at dinner and then to bed by 9:30 (a full day of napping on the beach and by the pool can really tire a guy out).
rfint Guest 1 Cigar after dinner ;Dcervezas, well if we are talking those little plastic cups then I would have t say around 30, as they don’t seam to be that strong but go down really fast !

Aquashoes, shorts, straw hat.
No cigars but … RUM Spot RUM!!

martian Guest I drink like a fish, eat like a lion and smoke like a chimney.

My motto for life is the same as it is for horsepower: Too much is never quite enough…

Great thread Mike!!!!! Love it.I will average 3 cigars a day, with at least 1 a treat like a Monte Cristo "A", or a Trinidad Lancero.I don’t drink much beer or booze, so maybe 6-8 of those little plastic glasses of beer a day.

Coffee is a different story. I’ll have 3-4 Americanos early with a couple of Cappuccinos mixed in, and 15+ Espressos before the day is out.

I’ll have 0 cigars but make up for it on the drink end. I could have 10 plastic cups a day and 3 or 4 rum and a few shooters. Then to bed

How many cigars and cervezas…?

How many grains of sand are there on the beach in front of the Sol Club in Cayo Largo?

halifax… is that don’t count or can’t count…lol…

No smokes of any kind for me… 1 or 2 Cervesas and probably 6 to 10 rum some with coke but many solo, solo…. red wine at lunch and dinner… and any several assorted liquors sitting in the piano bar…

Interesting thread. And an opportunity for embarrassment.Cigars: Maybe one over the course of my trip.Cigarettes: Not at home very often, but I’m guilty on vacation… probably a few each night.Cervezas: 100+Rum & Cokes: 100+Keep this stuff in context though… I’ve got a huge alcohol tolerance and I have yet to meet more than one or two amigos that can handle a booze-fueled situation as well as I can. I don’t slur or stagger, or start fights (although I’ve finished a few). And I’m routinely in bed by midnight or shortly after, pumped full of water, food and vitamins so I can take advantage of the next day. Of course I’ve had a few drink-till-dawn nights and hangover follow-ups…But I’m certain this thead is not meant for bragging. Not that substance abuse amounts to bragging rights anyway. Truthfully, I think alcohol and the like is an enjoyable part of any vacation. But for me, more importantly is the scenery, culture, lifestyle change and photo ops.
Okay guys, so what makes you think that women don’t enjoy smoking the odd cigar while vacationing in Cuba ;D

One Cohiba Club after dinner for me

I don’t drink beer though.

I AGREE!!!However I’ve tried the cigars.I am not a huge fan I may try a new kind this year though.BUT I make sure my bubba is full of beer ALL day!!!!!!

and rum at night!

No smokes. Probably 20-25 beers, wine with dinner and a few assorted other drinks like mohitos etc.

For the most part I am not a big drinker. That is until I get to Cuba. I’ll drink more in a week lying on the beach than I will in six months back at home. Beer on the beach during the day and then switch to the "Vacation in a Glass" for the evening. After a belly full of those the warden generally has to lead me back to my room at the end of the evening. As for the smoking… I used to pick up a carton of Players Lights at the duty free heading out of Toronto. Between that and the cigars I could just about make it through the week. However, the last three trips to Cuba I have been on the non smoking wagon. I was tempted two weeks ago to spark up a Monticristo the last evening we were away. Figured it would be too easy to fall into my old habits so I resisted.

NO cigars…..after 30 yrs of smoking I quit a year ago and dare not go there just incase I like it….. But as for the drinks….the bubba never dries out….. ;D

I didn’t really intend to omit the ladies from this thread, but rather poke fun at "their" thread of similar title.I was feeling a little gitty ;D when I posted and never thought it would generate much interest.Okay ladies, let’s here about the beer/rum and cigars. My girl usually has a could cervezas and then jumps around all the rum drinks. An occasional treat is a Ceasar when they have tomato juice and vodka at the same bar, at the same time (it seems they always have one or the other, but never both).

She’ll also share the occasional cigar with me, either willingly or by default when she sits down wind.

I don’t smoke cigars but I have been told that I have lots to drink and always have a good time. ;D
No cigars , but the occasionally rum during my holidays.Occasions like 10 am , noon, going to the beach, and so on.

Couldn’t have said it better.

About 15 to 20 beer and 4 or 5 cigars a day but whos counting, oh ya my better half is lol

Well I’m a reformed smoker so up until this year I’ve stayed away from them, but I love the smell of em on the breeze. This year I smoked two. First one wasn’t so good, but I liked the second one better UH OH. My wife likes the little cigars so we brought some back for her I usually bring cigars back for my son, bro in law, buddy. Alcohol wise I guess you could say we get all that we want. Mostly beer for me, some rum, but I like a couple of screwdrivers before dinner. I stay away from the red wine, gives me a bad dose of heartburn. Now at home I’m usually in bed before 9 PM, but down there I have a good nap late in the afternoon, dinner at 8 PM and we were good to go most nights until 12.30 AM. What’s with that?

It’s called being relaxed and in vacation mode

I average about 2 cigars a day; 1 during the day at the beach and 1 after dinner. Beer is not my bevy of choice, even at home. I’ll drink rum at the beach, a single malt on the balcony, before getting ready for dinner, and red wine with dinner. Oh, mustn’t forget the Bailey’s in my morning coffee

Up and out by 7:00 am ( thanks Darlene) After breakfast the day begins.2 to 3 cigars. 5 to 10 cigarillos. Not much draft beer. I stock up on the bottles. Good thing, I drink a bit through the day. Siesta 6:30 to 9:00. Shower and away we go again! A couple more cigars, few more cigarillos, and lots of rum. ;D
