	Would anyone happen to have the menu for the Cuban restaurant at Iberostar Varadero…?? My friends getting married there and we’re curious to see what the supper will be…Thanks!Oh and another thing…. how about the drinks menu..?? Would anyone have that too..??

	I don’t have the menu but we had steak and it was quite good. One of my friends had something called fried pork. It didn’t sound good but you wouldn’t believe how good it was. They also had absolutely HUGE crab legs that you could get as part of the salads etc. before the meal. These crab legs were the best I’ve ever had. We really enjoyed this restaurant.

We’ve booked the Cuban restaurant for our wedding. I don’t recall the menu- sorry. I do remember there were several choices even if you are having a large group. We may be doing the lobster dinner (it’s an upgrade). Best,

	We booked this place for our wedding dinner as well. I had chicken delish and my husband had the steake and really liked it. Some had chicken soup before the meal and I regreted not having this, it was very yummy. Just save room for the wedding cake, best cake I have ever tasted!

	Hi everyone! Just to let you know that my friend has found out that the Cuban restaurant will be changing to an Italian restaurant next season…!! Can’t wait to try it!

We had our reception at the Mediterranean restaurant. They have mostly seafood dishes, but one or two beef. It is a beautiful restaurant, really nice for a wedding reception. They kept the other guests out of the restaurant for the first 30min so we could have some privacy and do our speeches, make sure you ask for that! We got married at 4pm, the reservation was for 6 or 6:30pm, and we had lots of time after the ceremony for pics, and a few lobby bar drinks before the dinner. The maitre D at the Med. restaurant is great. My dad got very choked up doing his speech, so he brought him over the tequila bottle! We ended up finishing that bottle…

P.S. the wedding cake is awesome! not too sweet at all…

	What is the best restuarant to use for the reception at Iberostar Varadero? I hear the Cuban restaurant is outdoors? Anyone got any pics of the two? (cuban & meditterranean)

I’m getting married at IV in April 2008 too and, from what we’ve heard, seems like the Cuban restaurant will still be available next season. It was suppose to change to an Italian restaurant, but it looks like it won’t be happening any time soon… (Well that’s what the wedding coordinator told me) So I think we are safe… We are choosing the cuban restaurant… I was there last year for a wedding and the diner was absolutely perfect!! I highly recommand it…

Hi everyone,I was married at the IV about 2 weeks ago. Orginally I planned on having our supper at the Cuban. It was extremely humid during our stay so supper outdoors was almost unbearable. We ended up choosing the mediterrean and it was great. here is a picture of the cuban restaurant though. We did go here during our stay. I had the steak but didn’t like it and DH had the pork and it was delishous (SP?). I had the chicken at the mediterrean and it was great. cuban restaurant:

Thanks for the pic Sandraf. My dad heard about the lobster special they have for guests.. did you think about offering it to your guests? Somewhere I was reading that if you have over 15 guests, you’re limited in the dinner selection.. did you find that? Thanks!

	You can offer the lobster dinner to your guests for 18 CUC’s I believe…but none of our guests liked lobster We only had a couple of people coming with us so we weren’t limited in our restaurant choice.
