Pat’e Palo is a great Santo Domingo restaurant! One of my favorites. It’s in the heart of the Colonial Zone on Plaza Espana – the big square opposite Alcazar de Colon (the oldest building in the Americas). They often hold music or cultural events on the square. The food and service here are top notch. You can eat outside on their terrace overlooking the Plaza Espana.
